My Grandma turned 94 today. No, that is not a typo....94...Just look at her...Doesn't she look great? I posted about her last year here. I will have to repeat everything I said about her now twofold. She is an incredible woman. She has a twin brother and they got together yesterday for a birthday party. How cute is that? I saw pictures of them together at the party and they could not have been smiling bigger!!!She has been such an inspiration to me. She is the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman. She has quilted some of the most precious quilts, she cooks like no one I know...(except my mom, who is a fabulous cook), she still teaches Sunday School at her church ( she said she teaches the old ladies, I asked her tonight if any of the ladies were older than her and she said no... :-), and she loves her family beyond anything that I could describe...I pray that I can be just half the woman she is.
This afternoon she told story after story about me and my sister and we were laughing so hard...she was telling us that as teenagers we just needed a good spanking to straighten us out...gotta love that!!!
I love my Grandma beyond words and how precious to know that because of the love of our Lord we will share eternity together. How beautiful!!!!
